Heedi Tee – Knitting Pattern (PDF)

The Heedi Tee is a straight-cut, seamless tee with a classic crew neck and delicate finishing. It is worked seamlessly from the top down.
Thanks to the top-down construction, you can easily adjust both the body and sleeve length to suit your preferences, creating a wardrobe staple that fits you perfectly.

The Heedi Tee is suitable for confident beginners. You should be comfortable knitting flat and in the round, working short rows, and making increases.
All steps are explained in detail and supported with photographs. The pattern also includes links to my short video tutorials.
The upper back is worked flat first. The shoulders are shaped with short rows, while the armholes are formed with increases.
The two front sections are then picked up directly from the shoulders and worked separately before being joined after shaping the neckline.
The body and sleeves are worked seamlessly in the round. The sleeves are worked straight without decreases.
The neckband is picked up from the cast-on edge. The delicate edgings at the neckline, sleeves, and hem are created using a special technique that is explained in detail in the pattern.

Measured after washing and blocking:
20 sts × 30 rows/rounds = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4”) in stockinette stitch using the largest needle.

Which yarns are suitable for the Heedi Tee?
The pattern includes three single-strand yarn suggestions as well as one two-strand alternative. The most important thing is to achieve the recommended gauge. This also allows you to substitute other yarns with a similar yardage and similar properties.
Why is the neckband knitted last?
The neckband is picked up from the cast-on edge. This creates a particularly neat and even neckline and allows the neckband to blend seamlessly into the overall construction of the tee.
Do I need to sew the tee together?
No. The Heedi Tee is knitted completely seamlessly. Only the yarn ends need to be woven in when you have finished.
Can I knit the Heedi Tee in stripes?
