Tjeelva Hoodie is worked top down. Front and back piece are first worked separately, while the shoulders are shaped with short rows at the back piece. Front and back piece are than closed and the body is worked in the round. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole openings and worked in the round. The hood is picked up from the stitches at the neckline. Tjeelva Hoodie has a loose fit with a positive ease of approx. 12 to 15 cm.

Recommended needles: 1 circular needle 5 mm and 5,5 mm (40, 60 and 80 and/or 100 cm long), 1 circular needle 5 mm and 5,5 mm. Additionally, 1 circular needle 3,5 mm, 40 and 60 cm for picking up stitches at the armhole opening and the hood, 1 circular needle 5,5 mm for 3 needle bind off.
Alternatively, you can work with the magic loop method for which you need a circular needle 5 mm and 5,5 mm (min. 100 cm long)
Knit a gauge swatch first and adjust needle size, if necessary.
Gauge (double thread A/B or C/D), washed and blocked: 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch = 15 sts x 22 rows on needle 5,5 mm.
Supplies: 4 stitch markers, 2 stitch holder or waste yarn, wool needle, measuring tape, scissors.
