Yilaa Cardigan
Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL,
Yilaa Cardigan is designed to be worn with a positive ease of approx. 25 to 35 cm. On the cover, I wear the cardigan in size S. I am 1,60 tall and have a chest circumference of 86 cm. I wear Yilaa Cardigan with approx. 35 cm of positive ease.
The slightly oversize Yilaa Cardigan is worked seamlessly top down with raglan increases. The body has a wide fit with rather slim and overlong sleeves, so that they create a nice frame.
The cardigan has a V-neckline and a subsequently worked front band and can be closed with large buttons. The pretty pockets are worked directly to the cardigan.

Recommended needles
Circular needles
4 mm, min. 100 cm long,
5 mm, 40 cm and min.100 cm long,
5,5 mm, 40 cm and min.100 cm long.
The sleeves are worked on a short circular needle.
Alternatively, they can be worked on a long circular needle with the Magic Loop method, with dpns or any other needle system of your choice.
Supplies
Stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, wool needle, measuring tape, scissors.
4 buttons, ø approx. 25 mm.
Gauge
10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch= 17 sts x 22 rows on needle 5,5 mm, (washed and blocked).
Knit a gauge swatch first and adjust the needle size, if necessary.
