Zoora Sweater, digital knitting pattern
Difficulty ●●●○○ – for ambitious beginners with some top-down knitting experience
A modern, seamless unisex sweater: the Zoora Sweater is worked top down (from the neckline down) in a raglan construction – completely seamless.
The turtle-neck collar sits particularly well because it starts with short rows for shaping. After that, the sweater is worked in the round. The turtle neck and cuffs are knitted in twisted stitches, giving the design its clean, distinctive, timeless silhouette.
Thanks to the top-down construction, you can adjust body and sleeve length individually while you knit.
The Zoora Sweater pairs beautifully with the other designs from the Zoora Collection: Socks, Slipover, Hat, Chunky Socks, Cuffs and Neck.
The design is unisex and works just as well for men.

FAQs
Is the Zoora Sweater suitable for advanced beginners?
Yes. You should have basic experience with top-down knitting and be willing to learn short rows (German short rows / double stitches). After that, the sweater is worked mostly in the round.
Why are short rows worked at the beginning?
So the turtle-neck collar sits nicely around the neck and the transition into the shoulder area has a better fit.
Can I adjust the body and sleeve length?
Yes. Thanks to the top-down construction, you can adjust both body and sleeve length as you knit. Please note: adding length may increase yarn usage.
Is the pattern suitable for men as well?
Yes. The Zoora Sweater is unisex. For men, a longer body and sleeves are often a good idea—plan for that while you knit.
Can I use a different yarn?
Yes, as long as you can match the gauge: 20 sts × 30 rows/rounds = 10 × 10 cm (stockinette stitch, washed and blocked, 4 mm needles). Adjust the yarn amount if your yarn has a different meterage.
How do I choose my size?
Use your bust circumference (or the wearer’s) and the amount of positive ease you want. If you’re between sizes, decide based on your preferred fit and whether you’d like to knit it slightly longer or shorter.
Which needles do I need?
Circular needles 3.5 mm and 4 mm, in lengths of approx. 40–60 cm and 80–100 cm. (You can also use Magic Loop if you prefer.)
