The Eezra Shirt has a relaxed, straight boxy fit and is designed to be worn with 25–33 cm of positive ease.

Description
The Eezra Shirt is a seamless shirt with a boat neckline and short raglan sleeves. It is worked from the top down in rows and rounds.
Ribbed neckband
Yoke with raglan increases worked in the round
Body and sleeves are then worked separately
Body first worked in the round, then separated into front and back at the hem
Hem shaping with right- and left-leaning decreases
Sleeves worked in the round
Thanks to the top-down construction, all lengths can easily be adjusted to your own measurements.
The shirt also works well in soft, lightweight and warm yarns and is ideal for layering.

FAQs
Which size should I choose?
Use the finished bust circumference of the shirt as your guide. The Eezra Shirt is designed with 25–33 cm of positive ease. If you prefer a less relaxed fit, choose a smaller size. For the intended fit, choose the size that gives you your preferred amount of positive ease.
Do I have to knit the stripes exactly as shown?
No. You can adjust the stripe widths and the order of the colors as you like. Keep in mind that if you change the stripe sequence significantly, the amount of yarn required for each color will also change.
Can I knit the shirt in one color?
Yes. In that case, you will need the total yarn amount in grams or meters given for your size.
Can I adjust the length?
Yes. Thanks to the top-down construction, you can easily adjust both the body and sleeve lengths. If you make the shirt noticeably longer, allow for some extra yarn.
Is the shirt worked in the round or flat?
The yoke is worked in the round. The body is first worked in the round and then separated into front and back at the hem. The sleeves are worked in the round.
Which yarn alternatives can I use?
You can also knit the shirt with other yarns. The important thing is to achieve the gauge of 20 sts × 30 rows using 5 mm needles and to choose a yarn with the drape you want, whether that is a summer yarn, a transitional yarn or a woollier option.
Why is gauge so important?
Gauge determines the fit and finished measurements. Knit a swatch, wash and dry it in the same way you plan to treat the finished shirt, and adjust your needle size until you achieve 20 sts × 30 rows.
Is the Eezra Shirt suitable for beginners?
If you are comfortable knitting stockinette stitch and ribbing and already know how to work increases, the Eezra Shirt is very manageable. The pattern guides you step by step through the top-down construction.
Is there anything I should keep in mind when working with several colors?
Pay attention to even yarn tension when changing colors. If you change color for each stripe, you can either carry the yarn neatly along the inside or weave in the ends at the color changes, depending on your preferred method.
