Vreeni Blouse

Vreeni Blouse is worked top down. Front and back are worked separately, while the shoulders at the back piece are shaped with short rows.
Front and back are then placed on the same needle and the body is worked in rounds. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole openings and worked in rounds, too. The puffy balloon sleeves are worked in a simple lace pattern. The ribbing at the neck is worked from picked up stitches at the neckline and is knitted in the round. Vreeni Blouse has a positive ease of approx. 11 to 17 cm.

The sleeves are worked on a circular needle (3,5, 4 mm and 4,5 mm, 100 cm long) with the Magic Loop method. The sleeves can be worked on a short circular needle (40 cm), on dpns or with any other needle system of your choice as well.
Knit a gauge swatch first and adjust needle size, if necessary.
Gauge (1 or 2 threads) 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch =
18 sts x 28 rows on needle 4,5 mm.
Supplies: 2 lockable stitch markers, 2 stitch holders or waste yarn, wool needle, measuring tape, scissors.
