Pascuali Mohair Bliss (60 % organic Superkid Mohair, 40 % silk
(mulberry silk)), meterage approx. 300 m/25 g, one half each in the colours818 Koralle and 809 Gletscher.
Here, I have worked with double thread.
Recommended needles
Circular needles 4,5 and 5 mm, 40 – 60 cm and 80 – 100 cm long,
5 mm, 80 – 100 cm long.
Gauge, washed and blocked
10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch = 17 stitches x 22 rows/ rounds on needle 5 mm with double thread.
Techniques
Casting on stitches,
knit and purl stitches,
knitting in rows and rounds,
left and right leaning increases.
Roosi Blouse is a sweater with a straight, boxy shape and a round neckline, European shoulders and wide sleeves, which is worked seamlessly top down in stockinette stitch; first in rows, then in rounds.
First, the back piece is worked, while the European shoulders are shaped with increases in right side- and wrong side-rows.
The stitches for the front piece are picked up along the shoulder pieces and are worked in rows.
For the body, front and back piece are joined and worked in rounds.
The sleeve stitches are picked up along the outer edges (at front and back piece) and are worked in rounds, too. The sleeves are worked without any decreases.
The neckline’s ribbing is worked from picked up stitches around the neckline and is worked in rounds.
Due to the top-down technique, all lengths can easily be adjusted to your own meas-urements.
