Zoora Neck is worked seamlessly top down. Beginning with a provisional tubular cast on, the turtle neck is worked in twisted rib, whereafter the shoulders are worked with increases, while at the same time the neckline is shaped with short rows. Front and back piece are finished separately in rows.

Recommended needles
Circular needles 2,5 mm and 3 mm, 40 cm long, 3,5 mm, 40 cm and 100 cm long, Crochet hook 3,5 mm.
Tip: The first part of the neck ribbing is worked in twisted purl sts. If you work these sts looser than the twisted knit sts, go down half a needle size as to the size stated here.
Supplies for both versions
1 smooth scrap yarn (e.g. cotton) with same weight as working yarn, approx. 2,5 m long,
wool needle, measuring tape, scissors,
6 stitch markers (2 markers in a different colour to mark the round’s beginning (rstm) and to mark the division).
Gauge
Knit a gauge swatch first and adjust the needle size if necessary.
Please note the different needle sizes for the different yarns.
10 x 10 cm = 22 sts x 30 rows in stockinette stitch, washed and blocked.
