The longer your body, the more buttons you need and the more button holes you have to work.
If you want to wear your cardigan without buttons, skip the button holes.
Tavalli Vest is a classic cardigan with a straight fit and a round neckline for every season. It has a relaxed fit.
First, the cardigan is worked top down with classic, accentuated raglan increases.
The yoke is worked flat, before the sleeves are placed on hold and the body is finished flat.
You then pick up the held sleeve stitches and work them in rounds.
The decorative decreases at the last third of the sleeves are worked with right and left leaning decreases.
The wide front bands are worked separately and they pick up the cuff’s pattern again.
The accentuated raglan seam, the fine, broken rib stitch pattern and the large buttons give the cardigan a pretty retro look.
The cardigan matches wonderfully with any clothing style.
