Recommended needles
Circular needles 5,5 and 6 mm, 40 – 60 cm and approx. 80 – 100 cm long.
Gauge, washed and blocked 10 x 10 cm in pattern =
16 stitches x 24 rows/ rounds with the larger needle size.
Supplies
Stitch markers, 2 stitch holders or waste yarn, wool needle, measuring tape, scissors.
Truudi Sweater is a classic unisex-turtleneck sweater with saddle shoulders and a slightly wider body.
Truudi is worked top down in stockinette stitch without any seams.
The sweater features a wonderfully warm and soft turtleneck that you can adjust to your preferred length.
The neckline is shaped with short rows (German Short Rows), while at the same time the saddle shoulders are worked with right and left leaning increases in right- and wrong side rows. Then, the sweater is worked in rounds.
First, the sleeve increases then the raglan increases are worked with right and left leaning increases.
Thereafter, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is finished in rounds.
It ends with a wide, decorative hem.
You then place the held sleeve stitches back on the needle and work them in rounds without decreases down to the wide cuffs, which are worked in rib in rounds.
All lengths of the Truudi Sweaters can be  adjusted individually.
